What if you found a wallet with a whole lot of cash in it....maybe 5000 dollars....and all the proper ID was there....would you keep the cash...or return the wallet?

ermmmmm! now i found a wallet 1X an it had 30$ ....I kept the 30 and returned the wallet i said i found it empty
BUT!!!! if it had alot of money in it....
i dunno, i'd hafta think about it

The old saying goes..."A fool and his money are soon parted." Anyone who carries five grand in a wallet is a fool and I'd be one $5000 havin sonofabitch. Of course since the saying doesn't mention ID or credit cards, I'd mail all of that stuff back to the owner. With no return address of course.

I know for a fact I would give the entire thing back.... I found a wallet once when i worked in a deparment store... it only had $30 in it.But i Contacted the ownder (( wich was hard because the number was unlisted.. had to go through her local indian band , but anyway)) When she came to claim the wallet she was so very happy because the money was for formula for her baby..... Yup...

i haave returned wallets twice......fully in tact of all cash

i then lost mine with a bit of cash in and was returned fully intact as well .......which was nice...
